time out with the peeps – v 1.0

The Gaslight Inn gardens
Keys to excellent adventure: a camera and a dog treat
To begin: Find the co-conspirator
First stop: Gettysburg Visitor Center
Second stop: Eisenhower’s farm house

Eisenhower’s farm house — They spent their time on the screened-in porch and had a marble fireplace originally from the White House. Lincoln happened to touch the fireplace during its time in DC. The Eisenhower’s staff bought it for $900 and gave it to them as a housewarming gift. It’s never been used since Mamie had allergies.
